Computer Literacy - Advanced

Course Overview

This course enables candidates to acquire a working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office applications. It also provides a broad base of knowledge for individuals to become proficient when handling the computer for personal use and also in a professional environment.


Course Outline

Advanced Microsoft Word:
The aim of this module is to familiarise the student with the workings of the application not only for everyday use, but also for the specified tasks required in an active working environment.

Advanced Microsoft Excel:
This module is designed to enhance the skills required in a competitive job market in relation to accounting and the presentation of job data.

Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint:
The aim of this module is to enable students to master presentation software so as to be sufficiently versed in a rapidly expanding advertising industry.

Entry Requirements

This programmes presupposes a general knowledge and understanding of both the "how to" of specific tasks as well as the practical application of skills required.
